I am a Research Associate at Adelaide University, working with A/Prof. Jimmy Cao. My current research focuses on RL-based post-training for multimodal large language models and developing AI-enabled collaborative autonomy for complex space systems.
Before joining Adelaide, I completed my Ph.D. at Macquarie University, advised by Prof. Longbing Cao. My doctoral research lay at the intersection of Embodied AI, MLLMs, and Affective Human-Robot Interaction, with a specific focus on developing Realistic Humanoid Facial Expression Imitation & Generation systems for natural human-robot communication. Prior to this, I earned my Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Sun Yat-sen University and spent three years as a Senior Game Development Engineer at NetEase Games, where I developed a foundation in real-time rendering and complex system architecture.
